After operating their NITROX membrane system for three years, expansion of the Zurich Water Police breathing air system was approved for a KrinnAir CO2 Reducer. Several attempts to economically and safely remove the CO2 from the NITROX had failed with conventional competitive systems.
With a newly designed stainless steel frame, a "HOP on the TOP” premium solution could be put to use even in extremely challenging spaces.
The pre-assembled CO2 reducer could be integrated into the existing NITROX system. The CO2 content was reduced from over 1000 ppm to 0 ppm within just 90 seconds. The operator was so impressed that all storage containers were then filled with CO2-free NITROX overnight.
